Lately the blog-o-sphere seems to be all abounds with Bucket-Lists. Now, my bucket-list as a whole spans some 62 items, so I won’t be burdening you with the whole thing. Tonight, you will be forced to witness only the International Travel sector – and only the top 5 at that.
Travel Bucket-List:
1- Around America Road Trip
As you can see, this is a pretty Mammoth trip. Beginning in San Fran (Full House set anyone?), going through Las Vegas, sightseeing at the Grand Canyon, chilling in Amarillo, TX, and following a road right up into P.E.I in Canada (OMG – ANNE OF GREEN GABLES!). In my dream, this trip lasts between six weeks and two months. Currently seeking Investors!!! ๐
2 – London, Eng-a-land (totally had the Dr. Evil accent in my head then…)
Aside from some family over there, I have an inane obsession with going to Kings Cross Station and running full-pelt at theย barrier between Platforms 9 & 10 and somehow winding up beholding the Hogwarts Express.
I would actually really love to walk across the Bridge that I sung about as a child, ride the “eye” and take in the splendour, and stand at the base of Big Ben and just marvel at the fact that I am standing underneath one of the most recognised clocks in the world. I will also drop a resume in to the Ministry of Magic. I would rock the Department of Mysteries.
3 – a tour of Vietnam
I would love, love, LOVE to do something similar to a Contiki tour through Vietnam. I want to see how a country has rebuilt itself after a war which claimed so many lives and left such a scar on many countries. Although I’m not a fan of the local cuisine I am sure there is something I could try, right? And it would definitely be a cultural experience I would never forget!
4- Fiji Dream Status: Achieved.
I smashed this dream with Dan and Sam, and you can read about it here ๐ (This is a link to the guest spot I did at the start of the month)
5 – Rome
Ok, you know the saying that Rome wasn’t built in a day? Well, I don’t believe it was made to be explored in a day either. I want to spend at least 2 weeks in this amazing city, making sure to see all the sites that are important – the Pantheon, the Coloseum, Trevi Fountain, the Piazza Navona… the list goes on and on! I intend to soak up as much of the local culture and history as I can.ย Wine or Beer with Maccas notwithstanding.
Are there any places internationally that you would love to see?
And are there any places or sights that you think I should add to my list?
I am so excited to slowly achieve this list – I am allowing till the day before I die to accomplish them all – because I figure after that, it will be too late… unless I come back somehow as a Cullen and can just go wherever I want.
